I use the Mirakelkam on both my long-haired cat and my medium-sized dog, and I find it sorts out the knots just as well as it gives the coat a lovely shine.
If you've got a Persian cat, buy this!! It's cheap but it works wonders and gets all the dirt, debris and dead hair off my Persian. It gets rid of all the mats and saves you loads of grooming trips. Buy it!
