Good on a fabric sofa. The sisal has frayed slightly at the top edge after 10 days of daily use, but the surface underneath is still fine.
The 130 cm length covers the whole front of the armchair arm, and our kitten now scratches the sisal instead of the wooden trim. The colour is plain, but nobody notices it.
Our tabby went straight to the sisal instead of the sofa fabric, and at 42.5 cm square there is room for a full stretch. A few loose fibres came off at first, which I just vacuumed up.
So thin you hardly see it on the arm. The grey is a shade lighter than our sofa, but you only notice up close.
Grey is a safe match for most sofas. The sisal is coarse, which is the point, but it does look like what it is up close.
Two in the set meant I could do the arm she uses and the one she was starting on.
No glue and no screws, which was the only way my rented flat was ever getting these. The long polyester panel tucks under the cushion and holds it flat. It shifts slightly if she really goes at it.
